Short Information : – NTA-CSIR UGC NET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. This exam is valid only for Indian citizens and is held only within India. It is conducted twice a year, once in June and again in December. Its purpose is to select eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Assistant Professor, and PhD positions. The next NET exam will be held in December 2025, with the online application process running from 25 September 2025 to 24 October2025. This will be the second exam of the year.
In this recruitment process, any candidate who fulfills all eligibility and criteria can read the information and apply.

Application Fee (आवेदन शुल्क)

  • General : ₹ 1150/
  • OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹ 600/
  • SC / ST Candidates: ₹ 325/-
  • PH (Divyang) Candidates: ₹ 325/-
  • Please note that the application fee can only be paid through online modes (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, Wallets).

Educational Qualification (शैक्षणिक योग्यता)

  • Candidates having at least Masters Degree or equivalent examination from recognized University/ Institution in this Examination.
  • General / EWS Candidate Have 55% marks in masters Degree.
  • SC/ST/OBC Non Creamy Layer have 50% marks in Master Degree.
  • Candidates have reserved category shall be 45% or its equivalent.
  • All candidates must read the official information before applying.

  • Age Relaxation as per NTA-CSIR UGC NET Rules.
